The Serial Number of Non-woven Abrasives
Since we do not have national or industry roles about the Serial Number of Non-woven Abrasives in China. Therefore it is necessary to establish and improve the company's products Serial number system. The sraft standard is as follows:
1.Products Serial Number will be composed by several groups,
they are divided by ¡°/¡±. The first group is the Serials in the form abbreviation letters of products¡¯ English Name, the follow two digitals are diameter(O.D., in inch), after them, the two digitals are thickness(width, in inch), and density(Ply), grit size, etc.
2.The Serials are as follow:

5.Ply: As the actual one.
6.Grit Size: As the actual one.
7.Color: Usually in Grey, other color should be remarked.
Hole: Usually in 18mm, other size should be remarked.
Other: Special request should be remarked.
For example:If the product is named as NW08/02/5P/240#, it means a Grey Non-woven Wheel of 8inch*2inch, with the hole of 18mm,the density of 5Ply and the grit size of 240#.
